NHS’ top doctor to keynote at Rewired 2025

Mike

The NHS’ most senior medic is the latest national keynote speaker confirmed for Rewired 2025, the UK’s biggest and best digital health conference and exhibition.

Professor Sir Stephen Powis’ instrumental work in integrating technology into the NHS includes championing the use of digital to revamp outpatient services, AI to improve diagnostics, virtual wards to relive hospital pressures, and enhanced data sharing to support a single patient record via the NHS App.

In his first Rewired appearance, Powis will take part in a fireside chat on the Integrated Care Stage discussing how to support innovation throughout the NHS and the role digital will play in the NHS 10-year plan. He will then join the Innovation Stage to support National Innovation Accelerator fellows at their 2025 launch event.

He joins fellow national keynotes Ming Tang, chief data and analytics officer at NHS England and Professor Joe Harrison, national director of the NHS App, plus newly appointed NHS national chief clinical information officer Dr Alec Price-Forbes and national chief nursing information officer Helen Balsdon.

Register now for the unmissable opportunity to hear Professor Powis share his views on the vital role of innovation in enhancing patient care and delivering much needed NHS efficiency gains.
