Our day two keynote brings together two of the biggest names in health data research and governance: Professor Ben Goldacre, Bennett Professor of Evidence-Based Medicine at the University of Oxford; and Dr Nicola Byrne, national data guardian for health and adult social care in England.
Twelve months on from the independent Goldacre Review of use of health data the session will explore where next on responsible data use. Crucially, the session will focus on the importance of preserving public trust while unlocking the power of data-driven technologies.
