The Foundation’s principal focus is on improving health, clinical outcomes and patient experience, through building nurses and midwives leadership abilities, courage and confidence to ultimately change the world of healthcare for the better. Since 1929, the Florence Nightingale Foundation has achieved this through providing bespoke scholarships to some of the best nurses and midwives in the UK, who go on to make a real difference to patient care, policy and practice in their chosen fields.

Most recently, FNF launched it’s remote emotional wellbeing service, Nightingale Frontline, in response to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. Nursing and midwifery professionals are at the heart of responding to COVID-19 today, tomorrow and in the coming months ahead and FNF will be here to offer support both during and after the pandemic.
