SNOMED International is a global not-for-profit organization, of which the UK is a founding Member. We own, administer and develop SNOMED CT, the world’s most comprehensive and precise clinical terminology. All NHS healthcare providers in England must now use SNOMED CT for capturing clinical terms within electronic patient record systems. SNOMED International provides many other products and services to support the successful adoption and use of SNOMED CT globally: education, tooling, product and customer support and more.
