Sarah Amani is a mental health nurse and clinical manager with 18 years’ experience of leading transformation programmes across teams and organisations, with a focus on working collaboratively with people who use services and staff to improve their experience and outcomes. Sarah is currently working as Chief Nursing Information Officer (CNIO) at Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust and has previously worked as Senior Programme Manager for NHS England (South). Her programmes of work have previously been highly commended by the HSJ for ‘Innovation in Mental Health’, E-Health Insider for ‘Excellence in Mobile Health Technology’ and NHS Leadership Academy for ‘Digital Health Champion of The Year’. When she is not working, Sarah enjoys travelling and aerial photography using recreational drones.
