Tracey is the Lead Nurse in the Digital Readiness Education team at Health Education England and is currently leading The Phillips Ives Nursing & Midwifery Review. This review will provide an in-depth, evidence based, achievable set of co-designed future recommendations with the aim of ensuring all nurses and midwives are competent to practice safely and effectively in digitally enabled health and social care now and in the future.

She brings 12 years of experience as a nurse specialist in clinical informatics from Project Nurse, at the beginning of a large acute trust’s digital journey into EPR development, to clinical lead supporting its transformation into one of the most digitally mature NHS Trusts in the U.K. In this role Tracey led a huge training exercise, training 14,000 staff over 6 weeks and achieved the highest ever percentage of staff trained for a Cerner go live (2019).

In 2020 she was a member of the senior nursing team at NHS Nightingale North East Hospital leading on regional discharge planning and digitisation.
