Debbie is a Registered Adult Nurse with 17 years clinical and leadership experience in Renal Dialysis, Trauma, Orthopaedics and Plastics High Dependency care, Corporate Nursing and Digital Informatics all at Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust. She has been working in Digital Informatics for the last 7 years, mainly within the Implementation Team leading on small and large digital change projects across the Trust. Her current role is Deputy Chief Nursing Information Officer. Debbie is a certified Change Agent and is passionate about how digital technology can be used to improve patient care and safety whilst ensuring the technology is user friendly. She is currently undertaking the Minerva Programme which is a leadership development programme for women working in digital health.
