Nicc Johnson is a music-loving, serial entrepreneur who’s been rockin’ and rollin’ in the music industry for 21 years. His ultimate goal has been to empower others through the power of music.

Through his experiences as a DJ and his learnings as a musicologist, Nicc became fascinated with AI and the potential to measure the psychological and physiological impact of music and apply it to recommendation systems.

Music Health is Nicc’s third company and second tech venture. In 2014, he founded his first tech company, PRSNL.AI, which focused on solving the biggest problem in music streaming and personalization – automated and accurate music metadata. He invented the AI Music Brain™ and VibeDNA® audio analysis tools, which were modelled to break down songs the way the human brain does.
