Rewired Speaker Profile - Asif Qasim

With less than two weeks to go until Digital Health Rewired we have been chatting to some of our speakers taking part in the two-day conference and exhibition. This time it’s the turn of Dr Asif Qasim, founder and chief executive of MedShr –  a social media-style platform for clinicians and healthcare professionals to discuss cases and medical images.

The consultant cardiologist in London, launched the app to enable clinicians to share cases and clinical images without a risk to patient safety. In January 2018, a new functionality was added to MedShr which allows clinicians to post X-rays, MRI and CT scans in a separate group.

Dr Qasim will be speaking at Rewired on March 26 about building the first mobile global medical professional network as part of the cloud and mobile track.

We asked him why he thinks Digital Health Rewired is a must-attend event of 2019.

Why have you chosen to speak to at Rewired?

We’re excited about Rewired and sharing the latest updates on MedShr. Since we launched in 2015 MedShr has grown to be the world’s leading clinical discussion platform with over 800,000 members in 190 countries and has been described as the world’s first truly global medical network.

What do they think people attending the event will get from it?
