Macmillan CEO joins Rewired speaker line-up

Gemma Peters, the head of leading UK cancer care charity Macmillan Cancer Support will take to the Integrated Care Stage at Digital Health Rewired 2025 next March.
The charity provides specialist cancer information, healthcare professionals and services for 2.3 million people living with cancer. Peters will represent the voice of people with cancer as she discusses their needs in building digitally enabled integrated care services.
Peters has led groundbreaking initiatives in cancer research, care and clinical best practice across her 20 years of leadership experience in the UK charity, health and education sectors.
She was chief executive at Blood Cancer UK for over five years, during which she successfully lobbied the government on behalf of immunocompromised people with blood cancer during the roll-out of vaccinations.
Peters previously worked as executive director of fundraising & supporter development at King’s College London and King’s Health Partners, where she raised £610m through the award-winning “World questions | King’s Answers” campaign.
Peters will speak on the Integrated Care Stage on day two along with NHS England CCIO Dr Alec Price-Forbes. In his conference appearance since his appointment, Price-Forbes will talk about how to bring the workforce, public and patients along on the NHS’ digital journey.
