Our latest Rewired speaker profile is Neil Sebire, who is the chief research information officer (CIRO) at Great Ormond Street Hospital’s brand new Digital Research, Informatics and Virtual Environments (DRIVE) unit.

Neil will be exploring how AI has the potential to maximise the research use of healthcare data at the Rewired Expo on 26 March.

We asked him why he believes Rewired is the must-attend event of 2019.

Why have you chosen to speak at Rewired?

We are at an exciting time for technology and healthcare present, with the potential for significant impact in almost every area. This event targets the all of the major professionals involved, including CIOs, CNIOs and CCIOs, and it is therefore a great opportunity to meet and discuss with colleagues from across the NHS.

What do you think people attending the event will get from it?

Apart from all of the networking opportunities and ‘unofficial’ meetups, the main thing is to rapidly understand what is currently happening in various areas across the spectrum of digital and technology in healthcare.

Why should they attend?

The event aims to bring the broad spectrum of professionals involved altogether in one place, which gives people the opportunity to widen their expertise and learn new insight which can be applied to their day-to-day roles.

Digital Health Rewired is the new two-day conference and one-day exhibition taking place on 25-26 March 2019 at London Olympia, that will connect health IT leaders and professionals with the latest disruptive digital health innovations.

Developed for everyone working across NHS IT and the wider digital health sector, Digital Health Rewired will provide attendees with insights and ideas they can take back and implement in their organisation, while growing their professional network.

Other speakers include former Life Sciences Minister, George Freeman MP and DrDoctor founder and CEO, Tom Whicher, who has also taken part in our speaker profile series.
