Harnessing AI Panel: What will healthcare look like in the future?

Dr Hatim Abdulhussein will introduce this session by providing insight into the evolving landscape of the workforce and AI at a national level, and highlighting examples in practice at an ICB level.

The session will then host a panel discussion to address the role of AI as a solution to the biggest health challenges. Panellists will consider the tension between improving the health system within its existing structures vs the opportunity that AI holds to transform and reimagine how we can deliver health care and address health inequity. Delve into some examples of how AI is being used currently, the opportunities and risks this presents and make predictions for how AI can help our healthcare system to improve in the future.
