The NHS App – from digital front door to lifelong companion

With more than a quarter of the population using it each month, the NHS App is evolving beyond being a front door to the NHS, to being a trusted health companion offering personalised support.
Helping people to stay well and effectively access NHS care when needed, the app will offer everything from health checks, vaccinations, and screening details to appointments, testing, patient-initiated follow-up and AI-assisted triage to guide users to the right care safely and effectively.
Together, Liz Clow, Director, NHS England Digital Citizen and Rachel Hope, Director Digital Prevention Services, will outline the journey, challenges and opportunities to come.
