Esther Provins
I’ve worked in health and social care for over 26 years and in the last 6 years at executive level. I commenced my early career in digital, holding positions in IT engineering, telephony, data analytics and programme management and going on to lead the development and implementation of national software systems to support public health programmes. More latterly I’ve specialised in developing and leading complex change, digital transformation and continuous improvement programmes to support quality improvement. I’ve developed a great insight into the challenges and successes that we all face as I’ve worked in most sectors of health and care including primary care, mental and community health, acute and social care, public health and ICBs.
My style is naturally collaborative, and I am a keen believer in harnessing the expertise held by colleagues that I work with. I appreciate it has been a very challenging time for CQC colleagues, and I’m really looking forward to working with all of you and together delivering the changes that we need to make to ensure the care provided is safe and of the highest quality possible.
