Transforming urgent care pathways through digital tools and behavioural science

Demand for emergency and urgent care continues to expand beyond the current resource allocated to treat patients, leading to waiting times and poor experiences. This panel will showcase learning from two projects on wearable technology in emergency care and how the use of behaviour change theory impacted the use of NHS 111 digital. The discussion will explore the learnings from both and will be relevant to those interested in digital transformation, patient‑centred innovation, or practical approaches to improving urgent and emergency care.
