O’Neil, Iain

Iain O’Neil has over 20 years of experience in digital health across government, the NHS, and the private sector. As Transformation Director at EMAP, he is supporting six NHS Trusts to collaborate on their implementation of the Nervecentre Electronic Patient Record system. Previously, as Deputy Director of Digital and Technology Strategy at DHSC and Digital Transformation Director at NHSx, he worked on projects including the NHS App, was SRO for NHS 111 Online, and led the initial service design work on the COVID-19 vaccination services. Before joining the NHS, Iain was Digital Director at Nuffield Health, delivering innovations such as online gym services and digitised hospital and physiotherapy care pathways.
