Afternoon Keynote: Digital transformation across Dorset

The three providers in Dorset, covering acute, mental health and community services have partnered with Somerset FT to implement EPIC as their integrated electronic health and care record system. The journey over the next two years will draw from other EPIC implementations in the UK, and be a major building block in the vision for clinical integration. Siobhan and Beverley will explain some of the problems that the clinical and operational teams have with the current IT arrangements, describe some of the novel ways in which they are tackling their implementation, and paint a vision of what it will feel like for patients and staff in the future.
