Mrs Cara Afzal

Cara is a Senior Programme Development Lead working as part of the Greater Manchester Academic Health Science System (AHSS) at Health Innovation Manchester (HInM) which is looking to accelerate innovations into practice. Having worked across the translational research pathway, from translating ideas from basic and clinical research into the development of new approaches, treatment of disease and illness, she is using her unique insight to drive implementation – getting new approaches and products to the frontline of healthcare.
