Dr Malte Gerhold
Senior Advisor, PPL, The Health Foundation
Dr Malte Gerhold is a senior advisor with over two decades of experience in health and social care strategy, policy, innovation and implementation. He has helped organisations in the public, private and third sector to identify strategic opportunities for change and growth in complex political environments, and delivered impact through building coalitions for change across Whitehall, NHS, social care, health tech industry, and research. He held executive roles at the Health Foundation, the care tech start-up Birdie, and the Care Quality Commission. He also worked at the Department of Health, in the Prime Minister's Delivery Unit, at Accenture, as a non-executive director at digital engagement start-up Thiscovery, and lived and worked in Sierra Leone. He is now working with a range of organisations, and is a trustee at the Alzheimer’s Society.
