Civic collaboration for safer communities: The Safe & Well Risk Reduction Programme in Cheshire & Merseyside

The Safe and Well Risk Reduction Programme is a civic partnership between Cheshire and Merseyside Fire & Rescue Services, the NHS Data into Action team, the Liverpool City Region Civic Data Cooperative at the University of Liverpool, and Graphnet. The session will share insights from the initial 2024 pilot and interim outcomes from the second pilot which is currently in progress, including enhancements to the risk model, broader geographic coverage and how engagement with stakeholders has helped overcome challenges. It will demonstrate the power of civic data partnerships in driving integrated, ethical, and impactful public service transformation.
