Going global to help shape our own smart hospitals

Hear how the New Hospital Programme is developing international evidence around digital transformation

To support the 10 Year Health Plan’s drive ‘from analogue to digital’, the New Hospital Programme’s Digital ambition to reimagine healthcare remains a golden thread within the groundbreaking Government initiative.

Its aim of designing, developing and optimising Intelligent Hospitals will impact positively on patient outcomes and staff experience.

As part of this roadmap and to support these NHP schemes, the Digital Team has been keen to identify and showcase Intelligent Hospital good practice across the globe. Over the past 12 months it has worked with a number of smart hospitals in Norway, Finland and the United States to demonstrate the art of the possible.

This year’s session at Rewired will see Digital Director Sarah Thomas link with some of her international counterparts to discuss the lessons learned to date and how the programme’s Trusts can benefit from this knowledge.
