My name is Lucy Boot and I have been working as the Digital Midwife at the University Hospitals of North Midlands (UHNM) since 2015. I am very proud to have been the lead midwife in the implementation of a fully end to end maternity EPR in 2017, including full access for the women from 2018 and the implementation of the self-referral and personal health record in 2021. I am a founding member of the Digital Midwife Expert Reference Group which has been pivotal in my career so far. My goal is to continue and lead digital transformation within the maternity service and improve the care we provide and the work load for our amazing maternity team.
