Dr. Carey McClellan is the CEO and founder of getUBetter, a company providing evidence-based digital self-management technology for all common musculoskeletal conditions and women’s pelvic health. getUBetter supports the NHS to delivering self-management across entire care pathways - helping patients to trust their recovery, have the confidence to self-manage and require less healthcare services. getUBetter is currently supporting 43% of the NHS in England is approved by NICE (EVA) and demonstrating real world benefit and value to patients, clinicians and the NHS at scale. Carey is a Physiotherapist specialising in urgent care, a Research Fellow at the University of the West of England, holds a PhD in Health Economics, and is an NHS Innovation Fellow. This blend of clinical expertise, academic research, and entrepreneurial leadership enables him to guide a team dedicated to transforming self-management across the NHS with evidence-based digital solutions.
