Dr Caroline Pritchard has been a Consultant Anaesthetist at BHT NHS Trust for 15 years. Recently she has lead the clinical input to various flagship digital projects such as development of an innovative digital prehabilitation population health dashboard, clinical engagement for roll out of a e-prescribing system and a semi-automated digital dashboard designed to triage patients prior to surgery. Dr Pritchard led the Trust’s Preassessment and Prehabilitation service where she developed robust and efficient processes to screen over 20k patients per year. Together these initiatives have led to standardisation of clinical processes, cost-efficiencies and improved outcomes for patients.
