Dr Kerry Evans is Associate Professor of Midwifery at the University of Nottingham School of Health Sciences and the Lead Clinical Academic Research Nurses, Midwives and Allied Health Professionals at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. She is a registered midwife (since 2004), with experience in clinical practice and healthcare research. Her research is focused on perinatal mental health and digital maternity care; she contributes to local and national clinical guidance and research funding reviews. Her research expertise encompasses qualitative and quantitative approaches, realist methodology, meta-synthesis, research priority-setting, complex interventions, implementation science and clinical trials.
