I began my nursing career in acute stroke care and rehabilitation before moving into patient safety as a Clinical Nurse Specialist for the deteriorating patient. Today, I’m Chief Nursing Information Officer at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust and Lead Nurse for the Trust’s first Epic EPR implementation. My work focuses on clinical safety, workflow optimisation, and embedding nursing insight into digital transformation across acute and community services. I’m passionate about clinically led innovation and believe digital systems succeed only when they reflect the realities of frontline practice. My goal is to develop and optimise tools that improve patient outcomes, strengthen clinical workflows, and empower staff to deliver safe, sustainable, and compassionate care.
