Community Director, Data Science for Health Equity
Ellen is Community Director at Data Science for Health Equity, an international community seeking to improve global health equity through the use of AI and data-driven tools. After leading programmes at the Health Foundation to advance the use of AI and data, she studied for a master's in law concerning the regulation of innovation in healthcare and now works as a Research Fellow in the Birmingham AI & Digital Health Group focusing on how regulatory policy can ensure that AI is safe, effective, equitable and trusted by patients.
