Eric has over 30 years’ experience working in finance, with 28 years being spent in the NHS. He has worked in a variety of roles and organisations, predominantly in the North West of England and North Wales, and has a broad range of financial experience. He is currently the Chief Finance Officer and Deputy CEO at North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust. Work experience covers all aspects of financial management and leadership, and specifically includes organisational turnaround and recovery from acute care to mental health and learning disabilities, strong governance and financial controls, restructuring teams and dealing with staffing challenges and an ongoing interest in costing and SLR. Eric strives for the highest quality in work outputs, working with teams to get them involved in the decisions about how they work. An effective and confident communicator and negotiator, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with financial and non-financial management at all levels, internal and external to the organisation.
