Pam is the Chief Nursing Information Officer (CNIO) and Lead Clinical Safety Officer at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. Since joining the Trust in 2022 as its first Digital Matron, Pam has provided strategic leadership in digital health, driving initiatives that enhance clinical workflows, patient safety, and staff experience. With over 35 years of clinical nursing experience, including extensive work in oncology, Pam brings deep frontline expertise to her digital leadership roles. Her work at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust is characterized by a commitment to quality, person-centered care, and the advancement of digital innovation within the NHS. Pam has championed the adoption of new technologies to address health inequalities and improve patient outcomes and is responsible for ensuring that digital solutions are implemented in line with national standards and best practices. Pam is known for her collaborative approach, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to foster digital literacy and support staff across the organization. She is a graduate of the Digital Health Leadership Programme at Imperial College London and is actively involved in regional and national digital health networks, contributing to the development of best practices and the advancement of digital nursing leadership within the NHS.
