Siobhan Buxton is a midwife and registered nurse who works as a Maternity and Children's and Young People's Commissioning Manager within the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire ICB. With a clinical background spanning frontline maternity care and service improvement, she brings hands‑on clinical expertise and strategic commissioning. Siobhan led the commissioning and project management of the CardMedic digital communication pilot across the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire LMNS. Over the two‑year pilot, she worked closely with maternity teams and partner organisations to drive uptake, improve engagement, increase registrations, and troubleshoot operational challenges. Her work focused on enhancing communication, accessibility and patient experience for diverse families navigating maternity services. Siobhan is passionate about digital innovation that meaningfully improves equity, safety and the everyday experience of women, birthing people and staff.
