BCS looks ahead to Rewired 2026 as official partner

BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, is looking ahead to Digital Health Rewired 2026 as official partner supporting the development of the conference programme.
The BCS’ chair of the Faculty of Health and Care Will Smart will be taking part in the panel debate on professionalising the DDaT workforce on the Digital Leadership stage Wednesday 25 March.
Delivered with Federation for Informatics Professionals (FEDIP), the session will explore how to support professional development in the digital data and technology workforce in health and care, in line with the 10-Year Workforce Plan.
Smart is the former national NHS CIO was appointed to the Rewired programme committee. He will be joined in discussion by Neil Morgan the chief analytics officer at Midlands & Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit; Martin Dennys, deputy director digital profession at NHS England; and Andrew Griffiths the CEO of FEDIP.
The session is part of an exciting conference programme that features over 300 speakers including some of the most senior health IT leaders. All sessions will be CPD accredited.

Rewired is the UK’s leading digital health conference and exhibition, taking place on 24–25 March 2026 at The NEC, Birmingham.
