Digital Health Rewired Pitchfest 2022 is the entrepreneurial and start-up competition providing a platform for young innovative ventures to scale in the NHS.

On Tuesday 15 & Wednesday 16 March, the competition will unveil 16 digital health start-ups in four competitive heats, battling it out at Rewired 2022 for a place in the live final to win an NHS test bed site for their idea or solution.

CardMedic is an innovative and multi-award-winning app designed to reduce health inequalities through improving communication between healthcare staff and patients, across any barrier – including foreign language, deafness, blindness, learning disabilities or cognitive problems. CardMedic hosts an A-Z library of pre-written scripts, available in multi-lingual, EasyRead, sign-language videos and read-aloud.

At Memory Lane Games, we started out making games for our Mums (88 and 91). Today, our digital health apps “turn memories into games” for people with dementia and their carers in 100+ countries, with personalised frustration-free reminiscence games designed to trigger positive memories and start wonderful conversations.

ISLA is a visual record platform created to help save time for patients and healthcare professionals by providing seamless and secure photo and video capture to unlock the value of visual data. Proudly supporting 16 NHS Trusts across specialist, community and acute hospitals, we are keen to continue our success.

Virtuleap combines neuroscience and virtual reality to help increase attention levels, and address cognitive illnesses, disorders, and learning challenges. We have created a library of VR games designed by neuroscientists in order to test and train a range of cognitive abilities and make that data accessible through our enterprise platform.

Vinehealth’s platform uses behavioural science and AI to improve the quality of life of cancer patients through highly personalised patient support. The Vinehealth mobile app allows patients to track, understand and optimise their care, supporting them to feel in control and better self-manage, as well as to communicate crucial information back to their care team.

Little Journey is a digital eSupport tool that psychologically prepares, informs and supports children and families before, during and after healthcare procedures through a mobile application. An accompanying web-portal, accessed by healthcare staff, enables organisations to configure app content to reflect local policies and patient pathways.

Healthtech 1 automates away admin tasks in primary care, giving NHS staff more time to focus on what matters; patients

BrainBerry is developing a novel innovation of cognitive gamification app and headset measuring brainwave activity aimed at delaying dementia progress reducing healthcare costs and improved quality of life.

Heat 3

Sapien Health is a Digital Clinic for Surgery that helps people prepare their mind and body for surgery through sustainable lifestyle changes. Their perioperative programme supports patients from the decision to operate through to recovery. The service combines expert human care, individually-tailored content and cutting-edge tech.

Amara Therapeutics have developed RiSolve- A digital therapeutic platform that provides patients with immediate access to effective highly personalised therapy for a common condition called Overactive Bladder.

SimEPR’s mission is to digitally transform practical training for healthcare professionals. Our novel solution is an educational electronic patient record, which features interactive and customisable clinical scenarios for simulation training. The software has been used across multiple NHS trusts and is demonstrated to improve both training fidelity and learning outcomes.

eXRt, has developed a virtual reality physiotherapy platform for the recovery of stroke patient upper limbs. The platform provides fun and engaging physiotherapy games with intelligence to personalise each patient’s physiotherapy, for faster recovery towards patient independence. The platform remotely connects physiotherapists with there patients to monitor progress more effectively.

We’re Sweatcoin: an app where your everyday steps convert into currency to spend on cool products, services, and charities. The value of a sweatcoin is derived from our wide-reaching partnerships. From brands that want to connect with health-conscious audiences, insurers wishing to encourage healthier lifestyle choices and governments looking to reduce healthcare costs.

Compassly lets you easily assess the skills of clinical staff live in a mobile app, assuring that clinical teams have the right skills to care for patients while motivating ongoing professional development.

Our mentalis platform offers an app-based solution for patients with mental disorders. We focus on patients leaving (partial) inpatient treatment in hospitals. Patients receive access to an app and individual coaching via tele-health. The goal of mentalis is to stabilize and further improve the mental health of the patient.

LactApp has developed the leading mobile App giving personalized, evidence-based expert support to mothers on infant feeding and maternity. Downloaded over 600,000+ times worldwide, LactApp leverages its over 13 M+ real-world consultations to create proprietary AI that will reduce costs to the healthcare system by increasing breastfeeding rates.
