Nicole leads on Data & AI across Health and Life Sciences for IBM Consulting UKI working across the NHS, ALBs and the commercial sector. Building on a vision to transform the future of health for patients, her teams combine a collaborative culture, innovative approaches and technical depth to enable business transformation. IBM combines a trustworthy approach to AI and deep experience in data & hybrid cloud infrastructure to deliver change, safely at scale. Working with IBM Research enables cutting edge technologies and methods to be incorporated into client solutions.
As the founding Director of the Office for Life Sciences, across the Departments of Health and Business, Nicole led the development of the Life Sciences Industrial Strategy for UK government and acted as SRO for Genomics England. Prior to OLS, Nicole had over 15 years’ experience as a strategy consultant at Deloitte and Kearney. Nicole was previously an Executive Director of NHS DigiTrials and a Non-Executive Director of the Health Research Authority. Currently, Nicole serves as a NED at the Cell & Gene Therapy Catapult and Wellcome Sanger Genome Research. She holds a DPhil in Neuroscience from the University of Oxford.
